Welcome back!

It's officially that time of year again - schools have resumed in most places (or will next week, for those lucky enough to have a post-Labor Day start date). Horse shows are transitioning out of the summer schedule and conversations have turned to indoors and regionals. And I'm at that midway point where nearly every senior has a solid start to applications and we're finalizing main essays, supplemental essays, and getting things submitted.As one client said when we met last week, "I can't believe this is all really happening!"Me neither, kid. Time really does fly.So welcome back to school, to a new fall semester, to a new season of fall horse shows, and another round of newsletters, readers. I hope summer treated you well - let's have a great semester!

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is going to be delayed until December this year, so families will have to wait for financial aid packages; here's the official update from the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators.

Lake Erie College has an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to get a lesson with a Lake Erie College Riding Instructor Friday afternoon, September 15th!
