 SENIORS:Is this you? What I Wish I Could Change About the College Application Process(Also, after you've made a final decision, be sure to let me know where you will enroll!) JUNIORS:A little fun this week as we dig out from some more winter weather - "7 Colleges with Awesome Perks."Also - Don't forget to send updated SAT and ACT scores as you get them back in the next few weeks!NEWS:Credit card payments are NOW available.  Payments are accepted through Visa, MasterCard, and Discover and will need to be made by phone at present, in the hopes I can offer web site payments in future.  Parents, don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions regarding this.For those who wish to continue to pay by check, nothing will change.  You will receive your same monthly invoice (where applicable) and can drop a check in the mail. TRAVEL:I have had to cancel my Ohio schools tour due to a conflict at home for the same week; the Indiana schools tour (including Notre Dame University) and Virginia (including the University of Richmond) are still on tap.  California is pending. SUMMER PROGRAMS:The most recent issue of The Chronicle of the Horse has some summer camp ads for riding camps, both NCEA and IHSA.  Other programs are out there as well - please let me know if you want help finding a placement or opportunity for this summer, as deadlines are fast-approaching!From the blog:Last summer, I wrote a blog entry about making sure that your college list contained safety schools and compared it to the logic of making the choice to wear your safety helmet so that you can be prepared for any eventuality when you’re on your horse.  While I stand behind that blog post (always have safety schools in your back pocket, students!), today’s blog entry is going detour from safety schools and simply speak about the importance of wearing your safety helmet.Read More
