Who doesn't love a great campus tour in summer?

Students - are you tracking your competitions this summer on your equestrian resume?  Be sure to denote the show name, the division you competed in, your placing, and the number of riders in the class.  Keep special track of championship and reserve championship honors! NEWS ITEMS:The latest from Virginia Intermont College:From a statement issued this week by VIC:  "Effective immediately, longtime associate professor and coach Lisa Moosmueller-Terry will assume the position of head riding coach and director of the Equestrian Center. A 1992 graduate of VI, Moosmueller-Terry coaches VI’s Intercollegiate Dressage Association (IDA) teams and has led them to national championships in 2006, 2007 and 2010. She is vice president and regional representative of the IDA, an American Riding Instructor Association Level III certified instructor and test administrator in hunt seat and dressage, and a Level I EAGAD instructor."I will tour Randolph College, Lynchburg College, and Sweet Briar College July 22 and 23.  Updates on their programs will be available immediately after; contact me if you have specific questions you'd like me to ask while I'm there.2014 COLLEGE PREPARATORY INVITATIONAL HORSE SHOW DATES ANNOUNCED:  The 2014 CPI Horse Show will be held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center on March 28-30, 2014.  Applications for hunt seat riders will be available on August 15 and for dressage riders on September 15.  Be sure to submit your applications quickly, as the event is popular and spaces fill up fast.  (Visit their web site.)Equestrian-ONLY Package Available:For students who may already have a college list in place or may be working with another educational consultant in their hometown, I'm now offering an equestrian-only advising package, which includes 3 meetings to discuss and advise on the equestrian component of the college search.  Additional meetings and support services can be purchased as a part of the package for those who wish.  For others, it can be an economical way to get some educational consultation and support without the full commitment (and price!) of a comprehensive package.From the blog:. We were by no means done with the tour of Indiana independent colleges when we set foot on the campus of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Terre Haute not once, but twice – the first time for a wonderful dinner when we arrived in Terre Haute and the second for our morning tour and information session the following day.(Note – do not confuse Saint Mary-of-the-Woods with the other Saint Mary’s College in northern Indiana that is the sister school of Notre Dame University.)
