Who doesn't love a great campus tour in summer?

Students - remember, summer is the perfect time to build up your volunteer or work experience resume.  Even a few hours a week can make a difference on your college applications! NEWS ITEMS:Virginia Intermont & Sewanee Update:The Chronicle of the Horse ran a brief article about the departure of VI's Eddie Federwisch to SCAD earlier this week.  Full text is available here.Virginia Intermont has also reported that equine faculty member Sue Glover Wyatt has been selected as the new equestrian director at Sewanee: The University of the South and will depart VI shortly to assume this new role.Equestrian-ONLY Package Available:For students who may already have a college list in place or may be working with another educational consultant in their hometown, I'm now offering an equestrian-only advising package, which includes 3 meetings to discuss and advise on the equestrian component of the college search.  Additional meetings and support services can be purchased as a part of the package for those who wish.  For others, it can be an economical way to get some educational consultation and support without the full commitment (and price!) of a comprehensive package. From the blog:.As our tour of southwestern Indiana campuses continued, our group, fearlessly led by the wonderful Mary Ellen from the Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) organization continued on to the University of Evansville, home of the Purple Aces and a wonderful set of academic programs. With an undergraduate student population of around 2,500 and a small graduate population of only 200 or so, it’s no surprise to learn that U Evansville is actually the third smallest NCAA Division I school in the nation.  But one of the truly unique facets of the university is that their campus is made far larger – in fact, it’s made global - by the addition of their satellite campus in Grantham, England:  Harlaxton College.  That’s right – if you’re a student who doesn’t desire a small school for your college experience, don’t cross U Evansville off your list just yet.  They have two campuses on two separate continents!  Read More
